UNDERSTANDING WISDOM
by Jeff Morency, Ph.D.
All who have chosen to follow God and follow His ways are given gifts. I have been given the gift of understanding wisdom. The following is what I have been shown:
TRUTH & UNDERSTANDING:
The amount of truth contained in a statement that is not an intentional lie is usually directly proportional to the completeness of the statement. Most disagreements, misunderstandings, arguments, etc. are a result of incomplete statements or incomplete understanding. For instance, if you look outside and see that it’s not raining and said "It's not raining outside ", you would be wrong. It is always raining somewhere on the planet. If you made your statement more complete by adding outside of "where" it is not raining, the statement would contain more truth. And, if you defined "rain" more precisely, it would be even more truthful because it would be more complete.
In our simplistic understanding of Gods truths there is always something left out because of the limited knowledge that is available. Because of the incompleteness of this knowledge, it is often the case that apparent opposites are simultaneously true and totally compatible. Examples include Free will & Predestination, Creation & Evolution, love & suffering.
LOVE & SUFFERING:
The question that I have heard most often about God is the following: "if there is a God, why is there so much suffering in the world" or "Why does God allow suffering". Here is the answer. 1. So that God will be recognized honored, and glorified when or if he miraculously ends the suffering. 2. To give others the opportunity to practice being a servant as God wants us to be (more on this later). 3. To force us to either turn to God or to reject Him completely to eliminate indecision. 4. To bring those who will turn toward God into a closer relationship with Him.
God didn't just set the world in motion and go away, leaving us on our own. But, He won't violate our free will and force us to do anything, either. He created (evolved) us so that He could have a relationship with us. He doesn't want to be ignored. He wants to be recognized, communed with, thanked, honored, and praised by our own free will. Unfortunately, we're not likely to do it on our own, so He gave us a little help…''suffering." The whole planet was set-up for life to be difficult to either make us or break us. The intent is for us to become strong and to choose God thru the hardship, but He will always allow us to reject Him because He won't violate our free will.
But, He did love us enough to send one of his first, most important and closest creations who came here to this planet to show us how to live. He was named Yahvehshua, which is Hebrew since He was born into a Hebrew family. Most of his followers mistakenly call Him Jesus because their translations inappropriately changed what they called Him to make Him more acceptable to western European populations. He fulfilled over 100 prophecies while here so that we would know for sure that he came from God. While here, He said He would send the Spirit of Truth to live inside us so that we would KNOW how to live so that we could be part of His Kingdom. This Spirit is available to all that desire to follow God and who ask Him for it. This is how we become born (again) into the kingdom of God and are able to change from self-centeredness to servanthood. All who become servants of their fellow humans in this manner are also servants and followers of God and will (if they desire) serve Him eternally in many of His worlds through out the Universe.
Some people actually worship Yahvehshua because they think He is the same as God…something He never claimed to be. A major factor in this confusion is the failure to use the correct names of God and His Son in most translations of the bible. Both are translated "Lord", leading us to believe that they are the same, which the Hebrew original shows is clearly not the case. Yahvehshua said he was the Son of God and the son of man, which He is. He is also our mediator, which, interestingly enough, allows us to bring petitions to God, directly. Actually, all communications go thru the "Spirit of Truth" portion of God. Yahvehshua is the right hand of God. All actions go thru the " Yahvehshua " portion of God. Yahvehshua and the Spirit of Truth both have all the characteristics of God, as do the angels that serve Him.
WORSHIP & IDOLATRY
Being a servant of God, Yahvehshua told us in the Gospel of John that He did not seek glory for himself but that he gets it from God. Nowhere in the Bible does it tell us that we should worship the part of God that is " Yahvehshua " or the part that is the "Spirit of Truth" or any other special part, but that we should worship God the Father which, of course, includes all His parts. Yahvehshua taught us for 3 1/2 years to obey His commandments and pray to His Father as He did, but never mentioned once that we should worship Him. God is affectionately worshiped in all parts of the universe and is referred to by many different names including First source & Center, Yahveh, Jehovah, Elohim, etc; and Yahvehshua, as part of God, is always glorified in the process.
It is well known that 1/3 of the Angels rebelled against God, deciding to follow Satan instead. Recently it was discovered that a certain kind of fallen angel (demon) cannot be cast out of a person in Jesus name like the Bible tells us to do because the name of those demons is "Jesus." So, not only is it inappropriate to worship Yahvehshua as Jesus, but it borders on idolatry since there are demons by that name and they love it when "Jesus " is worshiped.
The purpose of demons is to coerce us into cursing God and separating us from Him. They do this by influencing us in our mind to violate God's laws. They thrive on discord, anger, resentment, and selfishness. They are the last things in this world that we would want to worship.
CREATION & EVOLUTION
The Bible story of our planet being created in 7 days is obviously an extremely shortened version of how the task was actually accomplished. God has many, many specialty angels who love to obey His every thought in the creation of planets, plants and animals of every sort. Creation in His universe occurs every day according to known and unknown physical laws by the action of His angels who set in motion balances of creation that we call nature that are designed to self correct and evolve according to His plan. Humans were specifically designed to self evolve in pre planned creation steps that include physical as well as mental and spiritual steps.
PREDESTINATION & FREE WILL
Many people have struggled with the issue of control and being controlled; wanting to control others but not wanting to be controlled themselves; wanting to know God but not wanting to give up their free will (freedom of choice). As I mentioned previously, God will not violate our free will and force us to do anything because He doesn't want puppets. He wants us to "volunteer" to follow and know Him.
The Bible indicates that those that are for-ordained are also predestined. This doesn't mean that everyone is predestined in every aspect of their life and that no one has any choice in anything. It means that some aspects of some people are "chosen" for certain paths. For example, those that are given an "ear" for music are said to have musical talent. This is a gift that for-ordains them to have a musical aspect to their lives. Of course, a person may chose not to use their God-given gifts and not follow their for-ordained path.
Yahvehshua was a special case of for-ordination because he chose to leave the higher dimensionality of His previous existence with his Father and be born as a human. He then chose, by His own free will, to accomplish His predestined path. Being from a higher dimension than us, Yahvehshua and Yahveh are able to see and know much more than us. We live in a 5 dimensional space; the 3 physical dimensions of length, width and depth as well as time and thought. Each dimension is mutually perpendicular to each other dimension. The lower dimensions can be seen more clearly and completely by the higher dimensions. For example, we can see an entire 2 dimensional painting, all at the same time with our 3 dimensional eyes. And as we move thru the 4th dimension of time, we can perceive the 3 dimensional world change. The 5th dimension of thought can transcend all the others by instantaneously creating, perceiving and connecting, (even with our creator.)
Yahveh and His heavenly servants exist in still higher dimensions, probably in the 7th (the number of completeness) or possibly up to the 12th. He is able to see our lives more clearly & completely just as we are able to see a 2 dimensional picture more clearly and completely than a 2 dimensional person that is in the picture. Yahveh knows our future to the extent that he knows the probabilities of our following our for-ordained path and the probabilities of our deviations from that path.
So, just as a chess player can predict what his opponent will do several moves ahead, Yahveh can predict what we will do many moves ahead. And, just as a chess player cannot predict what mistakes his opponent will make, Yahveh cannot predict exactly which way the probabilities and our free will take our lives. It's up to us!
There are many examples of people actually changing the mind of God, thereby changing their (pre) destination of themselves and others. Our prayers are always heard and when they are in compliance with or not in opposition to God's will, then angels are sent to fulfill those requests. And, when we are filled with the Spirit of Truth that dwells within those that are born again into God's kingdom, we know how to pray because we know the will of God and He honors our requests because our will is His. God Transmits His personality, will, plans, essence, etc. constantly thru out the universe thru the spirit of Truth (transmitter). And, its up to us to tune-in like a radio tuning into a radio station. Our receivers run into a lot of interference trying to receive Gods transmission. Even Yahvehshua had to take time out to talk to God to plan his mission here on earth. He had perfect reception that gave him the mind of God thru the Spirit of Truth and therefore did not need to change the mind of God because he most perfectly had it. He was therefore more fully predestined than others.
We, on the other hand, are not as predestined as Yahvehshua. The Spirit of Truth receivers must be tuned, adjusted, corrected and disciplined to be able to receive what God has for us. Religious teachers all over the world have already told us how to do this. Seekers of God have discovered that God told us to serve our fellow man, not worship other servants of God.
We decide if we are going to fulfill our own selfish desires or become born again into the Kingdom of God becoming servants of our fellow man. God has done His part… now, it's up to us!
RESURRECTION & REALITY:
When I learned the Nicene Creed, I said I believed in the bodily resurrection of Jesus. I now understand what that means. A physical body cannot be transported thru outer space without a pressure enclosure. And where would it go? "Heaven" is not a physical space as we know it. God is a spirit and so is heaven. Actually there are several levels between our physical 5 dimensional existence and the dwelling place of God.
When Yahvehshua appeared to thousands after his resurrection He was in the first level after this present one. He had what is called a "morontia" body, just like the "midwayer" class of angels have. This type of body is able to appear and disappear at will. We know that all physical matter is over 99% space. We are basically energy fields, not solid matter. Those in a morontia body can allow light to pass thru instead of being reflected, thereby becoming invisible.
What happened to the physical body of Yahvehshua? The over 90% percent that is water, simply evaporated in the tomb. The few percent that was not water was taken apart into separate molecules and remains in the tomb, unrecognized by those entering to find the body. This was recorded by the angels that accomplished this task and was given to us that we might know the truth. God obeys the laws that He created. The resurrection is not a mysterious "miracle." It is only something that we did not understand until now.
The aforementioned is the truth as much as it is complete, which is not… but it is what I believe.
